Adding Custom HTML to Facebook Page

Here’s a tutorial on how to add a custom HTML to your Facebook Page and use it as the welcome page when people (fans and non fans) visit your website.

*Sorry if the presentation is too rough, I just made this one up quickly.

1.) Login to your account and switch as a Page.
2.) Edit your page

3.) Check the left column for options, select App settings

4.) You will now see a list of apps that you have, scroll to the bottom and you will find “Browse more applications”

5.) Look for “Static HTML iframes” in the search and select it. You should see a star as its thumbnail.

6.) Choose “Add to My Page” from the left column

7.) Go back to your Page and you should see the new tab installed.

8.) Add your HTML codes. The two boxes are for “Fans” and “non Fans”. You can customize what both groups can or cannot see. You can have one for both as well.

9.) After saving. You can now try to view the page as a fan and non fan.

Now that the welcome page is ready. The next step is to select it as a Default Landing Tab – the first thing people sees when they visit your Facebook Page.

1.) Go back to your Facebook Page. Go to “Edit Page” again.

2.) Choose “Manage Permissions”

3.) And from the options on the right, for Default Landing Page, choose the name of your newly made tab.
